September 2011 Regular Meeting

KMPS next regular meeting will be Sunday, September 25th at 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Park University in Parkville, Missouri in the Science Building, Room 5. The building is located in the middle of the campus. Enter the campus off highway 9 just east of Parkville and park in a lot halfway up the hill or take Highway 9 to 6th Street in Parkville, just 2 blocks north of the Post Office, then east on 6th to a street just past the large domed gymnasium on the right. Turn right on this street and park on the right side of the street. Walk the rest of the block to the large natural limestone building which is the science building. The classroom is in the basement at the south end of the hall. Entrance is easiest at the south end of the building. This meeting will be our first Meeting after summer break and include a lecture. Door prizes will be given as long as supplies last. Free Identification will be available for fossil specimen you always thought someone should have seen before. Or maybe you can stump the experts. We hope as many members as possible will attend.  And of course our meetings are open to the public so please come and join us.

As a reminder the annual dues were due in January but if you are joining for the first time dues will be $6.00 for the rest of the 2011.
